PC50 | The New Generation of Protection

The Avon PC50 is based off the widely deployed 50 Series masks and is designed and approved for use as a NON-CBRN respiratory device, providing protection in dangerous and contaminated environments, against certain solid and liquid respirable particles, gases, vapors and splashes of liquid chemicals.

The PC50 was specifically developed for the targeted user groups; budget challenged Prisons, Correctional Officers, Riot Control, Border Patrol, Plant Security and other NON-CBRN requirements that demand a robust, field proven competitively priced military pedigree product that meets their operational needs. 

The PC50 offers a downward exhalation cover that prevents exhaled moist air from fogging helmet visors. A six point, easy to adjust head harness ensures that it is comfortable to wear over extended periods. The low profile design provides excellent integration with other protective equipment. With fewer replacement parts it means lower total cost of ownership.  Multiple, unique outserts are available which increase ballistic protection and provide additional scratch resistance. The left/right hand filter mounts provide easy configuration for left/right wearers.

The PC50 is NIOSH approved as a non-CBRN respiratory device for use with the CTF12 Canister providing protection against CS/CN agents.

CTF12 Filter A heavy duty general purpose filter for CS/CN protection Ultra low profile filter for biological, virus and CS protection 40mm threaded filter approved for particulate hazards including dust, mist, bacteria, and virus, plus riot agents, CS/CN and low level organic vapors.

ODCF50 filter* Unique conformal filter design provides close fit protectionagainst biological / odor / particulate challenges and CS non-lethal munitions (limited CN/OC protection). * The optional ODCF50 filter is not a NIOSH approved PC50 configuration.

Avon EZAir * Drastically reduces mask wearing fatigue while providing the ability to breathe easier through better airflow. * The Avon EZAir is not currently a NIOSH approved PC50 accessory.
