CERTIFICATIONS

The S10 is Avon’s first new generation Air purifying Respirator (APR). It fully meets NATO requirements and has been adopted by numerous defense and law enforcement teams since its introduction in 1986.

Initially designed and developed specifically for the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD), the S10 still retains a key protective role with UK armed forces.  It provides excellent protection against penetration by biological or chemical threat agents and is compatible with a wide range of user equipment including optical sights, weapons, combat clothing, protective head gear and communications equipment.

Avon also offers the SF10, a variant of the basic S10, which has been developed with enhanced features for use by special forces undertaking anti-terrorist assaults or hostage retrieval.
