Due to the long distance toxic effect of a potential sour gas (H2₂S) and Sulphur Dioxide (SO₂) release, it is essential that production and construction site workers in the oil and gas industry have respiratory protective equipment available to them at all times. With this in mind Avon Protection, a part of Avon Rubber p.l.c., has developed the world’s most compact NIOSH certified H₂S Filter Escape Hood, which has been designed to protect individuals in their safe escape from a toxic emergency, and will be on show for the first time at ADIPEC between 1-4 November.
