Viking ZST

Product description

Law Enforcers across the U.S. helped design the innovative Viking ZST SCBA System to ensure tactical, SWAT, and CST teams, and bomb squads have not only the best, but also the most comfortable respiratory protection available without interfering with their mission critical activities. The system is NIOSH CBRN and NFPA 1981, 1982, 2007 Edition compliant providing the highest level of protection for the most volatile environments.

The Viking ZST comes standard with the low profile, optically correct AirSwitch facemask and includes the heads up display (HUD) to monitor cylinder pressure. With the HUD, all the user needs to do is glance at the in-mask display to see the level of air left in the cylinder. The low profile, mask mounted second stage regulator eliminates the challenge of docking a demand valve while saving critical time and air. The user can quickly switch from ambient air to cylinder air with a simple up or down push on the AirSwitch so air is always available. The built-in control console incorporates a voice amplification system (VAS) and the “stealth” button. One simple click of the button turns off the backframe flashing locator lights and VAS, and switches to radio communication through an ear-piece and in-mask microphone. Another click returns the unit to normal voice mode. The comfortable, ergonomically designed backframe and straps are designed to ride on your hips and not your shoulders, extending work time and limiting neck and shoulder fatigue.

Product approvals

The Viking ZST meets all NIOSH, CBRN, and NFPA 1981 and 1982, 2007 Edition certification requirements.
