CBRN Mask with multiple protection capability

The FM53 provides high levels of protection in conjunction with convertibility to the operational environment. A new patented twin exhalation valve provides the capability to use the mask with all recognized modes of respiratory protective equipment. The FM53 will function as a conventional negative pressure mask as well as with a range of SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) and PAPRs (Powered Air Purifying Respirator). This is achieved without the need to remove or change any components. By adding a front mounted adapter, the FM53 has the capability of a CCBA (Closed Circuit Breathing Apparatus). This makes the FM53 the most versatile solution for all of your respirator needs.

For optimum protection, the FM53 offers a conformal filter design which positions the filter tightly against the mask, minimizing interference with other equipment while providing a more secure fit. The dual port FM53 can interface with positive or negative pressure environments within seconds. The mask’s lightweight and specific sleek design for left or right handed users are key to better integration with weapon sights. Its wide visor dramatically improves peripheral vision and identification of personnel while offering superb visor quality and improved integration with optical equipment. The unique blend of silicone and butyl rubber ensures a better face seal for increased protection and makes it the most comfortable mask to wear. It boasts a high flow, fail-safe drinking device which can be connected to a canteen or bladder system, allowing the user to stay properly hydrated while in a CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear) environment.
