Ready for Europe - C50 gains CE mark
Following quickly on from the FM12 success in gaining CE certification, Avon are delighted that the new C50 mask gained the covetted CE mark so quickly and without any major amendments to the mask. The CE mark was crucial in securing a number of pre-orders which were all shipped in January.
Gaining CE certification is fundamental for ensuring that a respirator conforms to stringent European guidelines on Health and Safety.
The CE mark provides an assurance to first responders such as the Police, Ambulance or Fire Service that their safety equipment is tested to the highest possible standards.
Avon Protection Systems is committed to ensuring that all their masks adhere to these important European standards and also to the US NIOSH CBRN certification. Both these standards are widely recognised across the world.
