EH20 Escape Hood achieves CE Mark |
The EH2O Escape Hood, the first purposely designed compact escape hood to protect against CBRN agents has achieved the all important CE mark. A CE mark gives assurance that the EH2O is tested to the highest possible standard and conforms to stringent European guidelines on Health and Safety. |
| The EH2O is an entirely new concept in CBRN protection, no such capability has existed before. What is so special about the EH2O is its simplicity and size. The vacuum sealed hood is stored in a compact pouch small enough to fit in a desk drawer or wear on a belt. When needed, it can be donned within 30 seconds over beards, long hair and even glasses. One size fits all! |
| Made of clear polyurethane, the EH2O not only protects against airbourne chemical, biological & radiological threats but also protects the face from splashes of agent. Twin low profile filters feature the latest membrane technology which reduces breathing resistance and ensures ease of putting on. These unique filters also allow the hood to be packed to its compact size. |
| The EH2O was designed by Avon in association with the Police National CBRN centre for use by First Responders. Jim Naylor, Sales and Marketing Manager at Avon Protection Systems, emphasised that the EH2O is a breakthrough for First Responders.
