Avon Teams with Blauer for Urban Shield
A simulated exercises to demonstrate how Avon’s respiratory systems deliver efficient protection in a CBRN scenario, has been put into practice at an “Urban Shield” exercise in Oakland, California involving SWAT, Fire, EMS and EOD teams.
A simulated CBRN scenario involved a disgruntled former company employee detonating a homemade bomb using unknown agents in a garage.
Avon partnered with Blauer to provide SWAT teams with a complete “warm zone PPE ensemble” using our FM53 mask and new EZ Air blower and Blauer’s XRT Class 3 suit, incorporating our new CBRN proof Avon suit seal.
