A conformal profile general purpose military CBRN filter. Provides protection against chemical, biological and radiological warfare agents in accordance with NATO requirements. Also protects against certain toxic industrial chemicals.

Avon Protection’s ST53 has been developed specifically for specialist applications where operators are responding to ever-changing operational conditions. ST53 is a versatile self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), combining the multimode FM53 full-face respirator with an ergonomic backframe, padded shoulder straps and a compact demand valve that can mount on either side.
Flexible configuration options allow users to adapt the system to mission-specific needs, with cylinder options including minimum durations of 30, 45 or 60 minutes at 40 l/min. Pressure gauges and an end-of-service whistle support air monitoring, while EBSS and RIC options add emergency capability and support the wearer's operational effectiveness in the field.
