- Voice Projection Unit (VPU) enables clear and intelligible communications in the field without the need to remove the respirator
- Electronic Communication Port (ECP) allows a VPU to be safely connected in a CBRN environment to an internal microphone
- Additional communications systems can be attached via the ECP using an appropriate lead
