PRESS RELEASE - Avon Protection shapes the future of CBRNe Protection in Malmö, Sweden

Date: 19 September 2022

Avon Protection’s range of protective equipment will be on display at CBRNe Protection Symposium 20th-22nd September on booth #54 and #61.

Avon Protection subject matter experts will help shape the future of CBRNe protection at the 14th CBRNe Protection Symposium in Malmö, Sweden, with two company presentations to focus on critical issues facing the CBRNe protection community worldwide.

Avon Protection’s CBRN experts Hamish de Bretton-Gordon and Tom Williams will lead discussions in two key areas; implications of the future chemical and biological weapons threat for military capability and how the evolving global threat is driving a case for a new military dress category state.

The brand will also showcase its latest developments in CBRN protective equipment at the exhibition: its range of Air Purifying Respirators (APRs) including the market-leading M50/FM50, Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPRs), Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), and its award-winning CH15 Compact CBRN Escape Hood. The newest addition to the company’s protective wear, the EXOSKIN range of CBRN boots and gloves, will also be on display.

“Avon Protection’s CBRN protective equipment leads the world in protection levels, intelligent design and useability, with all our systems developed to meet the latest requirements from CBRN operators across the military, counter-terror and peace-keeping spectrums,” said Steve Elwell, Vice President UK & International. “The CBRNe Protection Symposium gives the experts behind the products the chance to share knowledge and help shape the future of our sector, to ensure our community stays ahead of the threat.”
