The United States has become the latest nation to place an order for Avon Protection’s MITR System. The recent order by the Department of War (DoW) incorporates the MITR-M1 Half Mask and MITR-PG1 Powered Goggle for its Special Operations Forces and includes both MITR-PF Particulate Filter and MITR-RF Riot Filter for mission-specific modularity, and integrated helmet and communication system accessories.

Avon Protection has received a new order for its CBRN respiratory protective equipment system from an existing European customer. The order is worth approximately $12 million. The new system includes Avon’s FM53 Air Purifying Respirator (FM53), Combination System Powered Air Purifying Respirator (CS-PAPR), and ST53 Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA).

Avon Protection has received a $10.8 million order from an existing European NATO nation for its CBRN respiratory protection systems, under the NATO NSPA (NATO Support & Procurement Agency) framework contract. This new order will support the ongoing modernisation of protective capability for military personnel.

Avon Protection introduces new short-duration CBRN Combination System Powered Air Purifying Respirator (CS-PAPR) The new CS-PAPR SD can be easily added to fielded air purifying respirators (APRs) and SCBA systems to leverage existing equipment configurations and maximise operational flexibility.

In 2025, Avon Protection signed a new contract with its long-running customer, UK Police, to provide servicing and support for the Force’s FM53 multi-role Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) System. The framework contract, which runs through to 2029, will deliver consistent flow of product, improved stock management, and enhanced FM53 RPE system availability for UK Police in a purpose-built package designed to maximise cost-efficiency.
